Shocking moment for a driver (27) from Klagenfurt and her daughter (6) who was driving in the back seat. When the two encountered a trailer on Kappeler Strasse on Wednesday, the trailer’s side door suddenly opened and hit the windshield of the car. Mother and child were extremely lucky. They were only slightly injured.
The woman was driving with her six-year-old daughter towards Kappel am Krappfeld around 2 p.m. At the same time, a 33-year-old driver from Slovenia approached them with his truck and trailer. In the vicinity of the village of Oberbruckendorf, the side door of the trailer suddenly opened and slammed into the windshield of the car.

The woman could brake her vehicle with the presence of mind, as could the driver. Most of the windshield was smashed and mother and daughter escaped unscathed. They were injured only to an unknown extent and were taken to the Klagenfurt clinic by the rescue team.
