A black car hit the 14-year-old around 7:40 am on Friday in Waidhofen an der Ybbs while he was crossing a zebra crossing. The driver of the accident may have overlooked the young person. After the collision, the woman immediately stopped to help the teen. But the Ukrainian made it clear to her – probably because of language barriers – that she had to go to school. So the 50-year-old continued driving.
The police are asking for information
Moments later, the 14-year-old called her mother and took her to the hospital. Police are now looking for the 50-year-old driver of the accident and are asking witnesses to contact the Waidhofen police station on 059133-3180.
