Probably homeless
Police currently believe the body belonged to a homeless man who spent the night in the basement. The fire is said to have been caused by an open flame or glowing particles, which subsequently damaged a nearby water pipe.
Autopsy ordered
As a result, the fire extinguished itself, but the basement was partially flooded. An autopsy was ordered. The male body had severe burns.
