Five people were arrested on Friday during an anti-terrorist operation in eastern France. They were taken into custody as part of a Secret Service investigation, the anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office announced.
The formation of a criminal terrorist organization is being investigated. The arrests took place in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department. According to information from investigators, those arrested belong to an Islamist movement.
