The 50-year-old wanted to throw a broken wooden chair from the first floor balcony around 1:50 p.m. For unknown reasons, he fell over the railing and fell from his apartment into the garden.

Together with the chair, he flew down about three meters and landed on a wooden garden table. He was seriously injured in the collision and was flown to the district hospital St. Johann in Tirol by the C4 emergency medical helicopter.
