South Korean actor Lee Sun Kyun was investigated for drug use. The police reportedly only questioned him about it this weekend. His body was found in a park on Wednesday.
The manager of the actor, who appeared in the multiple Oscar-winning film ‘Parasite’, had previously reported him missing. He had tried unsuccessfully to reach Lee and then checked his house. There the manager found a suicide note.
“Big disappointment”
It was only at the weekend that Lee was reportedly questioned about his suspected drug use during an hours-long interrogation. According to him, a barmaid cheated on him and then blackmailed him. He filed a complaint and apologized for causing “a huge disappointment.”
Lee is survived by 2 sons
Lee was found in a car in a park. The police have not ruled out suicide. The actor is survived by his wife and two sons.
