She ignored a stop sign, drove her Audi into an intersection in Bad Ischl at too high speed, collided with the car of a 37-year-old from Ebensee – and then simply drove away. Police are now looking for witnesses and information about the unknown driver of the accident.
The accident happened on St. Stephen’s Day around 8 p.m. A 37-year-old from Ebensee was driving on the main road towards Bad Ischl. At the intersection of the Traun Bridge, the woman wanted to turn left onto Bahnhofstrasse. But another car crashed into her own car.
Stop sign ignored
At the same time, an as yet unknown woman drove her vehicle, an Audi A3 or A4 with a Gmundner license plate, at high speed from Ischlerstrasse into the intersection and ignored a stop sign – the two vehicles collided.
Who saw anything?
The 37-year-old was slightly injured and was treated as an outpatient in hospital. However, the unknown driver of the accident fled. The police are now asking for information: Have you seen anything, please contact the Ebensee Inspectorate on 059133 4104.
