After several perpetrators attacked and beat a 29-year-old local man and later his companion in Innsbruck in early November – the ‘Krone’ reported – the police can now boast a success in their investigation: the officers have arrested four young suspects. Some of them are still minors.
The police say that intensive investigations preceded the identification of the suspects. The suspected perpetrators are four boys aged 17 and 18.
Attacked twice within a short time
On the night of November 4, they initially got into a verbal argument with the later victim in Wilhelm-Greil-Strasse in Innsbruck, after which a fight broke out. The 29-year-old local man was first hit in the face and then seriously injured by kicks to the head.
The injured man then went with an escort to Innsbruck’s main station, where they met the suspected perpetrators again. Another altercation ensued, this time the 29-year-old’s friend was injured in the head.
