The prices of the AP-68 for light vehicles have increased by about 4%. In this way the section between Vitoria and Bilbao -and vice versa- goes up by 25 cents, that is, it goes from 6.25 to 6.50 euros.
Meanwhile, the route between Llodio and Bilbao has increased by 10 cents, from 2.30 to 2.40 cents.
The new prices have been set by the concessionaire of the AP-68 Bilbao-Zaragoza road, which has a contract until 2026. That year, the municipalities of Bizkaia and Álava will take charge of the highway in the Biscay and Alava sections, and will have to decide what to do with the toll. In the case of Alava, the intention is to set up a committee during the General Meetings to debate this.
In turn, prices for the AP-8 and AP-1 toll roads, managed by the municipalities, have increased by about 2.5%. So it is in the AP-8The toll between Bilbao and Donostia -and vice versa- costs 32 cents more than in 2023; that is, it has gone from 12.70 to 13.02 euros.
On the same road, for example, the route between Bilbao and Eibar goes from 6.05 euros to 6.23 euros.
