The sirens sounded in Innsbruck around 12:30 p.m. A bus caught fire at a stop on Planötzenhofstrasse in the Hötting district. The professional fire brigade was able to quickly extinguish the flames. According to initial findings, the cause of the fire was probably a technical defect.
No one was hurt
It is still unclear how many people were on the bus at the time. But everyone – including the driver – was able to escape. Fortunately, no one was injured. There was significant damage to the bus.
