Drama about small dogs – Exposed! Sweet puppies are now looking for a home

Date:

A dog family was callously abandoned in Lower Austria. A walker came to help. Now people at the Schandl animal boarding house on the Draßmarkt in Burgenland are concerned about the future of their little four-legged friends.

The Schandl animal shelter on the Draßmarkt is repeatedly confronted with the suffering of young four-legged friends. A particularly sad case concerns a small family of dogs discovered ten weeks ago while walking in Deutsch-Haslau in the Bruck an der Leitha district (Lower Austria).

“My two dogs, which I had gotten through Schandl animal boarding house, suddenly ran away as if on command. Because they are well trained, they never do such a thing. Despite several phone calls, they did not return, I only heard them barking,” says Elisabeth U. When the woman found her two four-legged friends, she jumped up.

A lot of misery
“A completely exhausted dog lay in front of me like a pile of misery on the floor with its seven puppies, which had apparently only just been born,” reports Elisabeth U. The dog, later baptized “Gipsi”, was probably abandoned.

The kind-hearted woman carefully wrapped the little dog family in her coat and brought the foundlings and their mother to safety. “We are happy that the puppies survived all the hardships of their young lives well and, after initially being very worried, are now doing well,” says the owner of the animal boarding house in Draßmarkt, Eleonore Schandl.

Who wants to hold the little ones in their hearts?
“All puppies have been vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and have received medical care.” All that is now needed for every four-legged protégé is a family that will immediately take the cute newcomer into their hearts, provide them with the best possible care and not abandon them again, as Eleonore Schandl emphasizes.
