On 2.17 the alarm bells were stark at the Salzburg Professional Fire Brigade: Room Fire in Eugen-Müller-Straße 51, near the federal road of Munich. The Florianis moved immediately. An emergency doctor and the police were also quickly on the spot.
When the fire brigade arrived, the house had already been evacuated. A fire spread on the third floor of a residential complex. The fire brigade fought against the flames from outside with the help of air ladder and was on site with a respiratory protection team. When the firefighters opened the door to the apartment of the 55-year-old, extremely dense smoke hit them.
The emergency services found the woman seriously injured by the fire. It was brought out by the rescue workers, but all attempts for resuscitation failed. In the end, the emergency doctor could not do anything anymore: the woman died on the spot.
The cause of the fire is so far unclear and must be processed by investigating Kripo officials. No further apartments were damaged.
