Pope Francis: – “Gender ideology causes wounds and divisions”

Date:

Pope Francis described gender theory as “extremely dangerous” during an audience with Vatican diplomats. “This ideology causes wounds and divisions between states instead of promoting peace,” the head of the Roman Catholic Church said.

Gender theory or gender studies refers to an interdisciplinary field of science that examines the relationships between the sexes. The focus is on questions about hierarchy, difference, roles and stereotypes between and about genders. Gender is not only seen biologically, but also as a cultural characteristic.

Pope Francis obviously cannot do much with it, or prefers to reject gender studies altogether. These are “ideological colonizations” that are “extremely dangerous” because they erase differences in their claim to make everyone equal.

“Child is never the object of a contract”
Moreover, the Pope publicly spoke out against surrogacy. “The path to peace requires respect for life, for every human life, beginning with that of the unborn child in the womb, which must not be oppressed or made the object of commercialization,” Francis said. Surrogacy is “deplorable” and violates the dignity of the woman and the child.

The mother’s material hardship is taken advantage of. “A child is always a gift and never an object of a contract. I therefore urge the international community to advocate a global ban on this practice.” Human life must be preserved and protected at every moment of its existence. Currently, he experiences a “culture of death” that “separates children, the elderly and the sick in the name of feigned compassion.”

In the past, the Pope has even compared abortions to “hiring a hitman.” A fetus can be seen as human life just a few weeks after fertilization.
