A poacher has been causing mischief in East Tyrol in recent days. The previously unknown perpetrator shot a deer dead in the municipality of Gaimberg and simply left it there. The police are now hoping for useful information.
According to police, the poacher struck the area on Monday evening Wartschen settlement in Untergaimberg. There the unknown man shot a buck – that’s what a male deer is called in its first year of life.
Researchers are hoping for clues
The baby animal died of pain. There is currently no trace of the perpetrator. The police are now hoping for possible witnesses.
