Two young women received knockout drops in the city of Salzburg on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. The investigation is underway.
A 22-year-old woman from Flachgau and a 20-year-old woman from Lower Austria were on the road in the city of Salzburg on Wednesday evening.
After going to a college party first, they moved on and started drinking in a few places. On the way home, the woman from Salzburg had a strange feeling that she described as “spongy”. She went straight to a hospital.
There, her assumption was confirmed: she and her boyfriend, who complained of the same symptoms moments later, had received knockout drops! The investigation into physical injuries related to the administration of the drops is still ongoing.
