In the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Friday), 1572 new infections have been registered in Austria. There is a data correction in Vorarlberg, technical problems in Carinthia. Eleven other people infected with the virus died.
There has been a slight increase in the number of intensive care patients: where 43 intensive care patients were needed on Thursday, three more were added on Friday. However, the total number of corona patients dropped below 500. 498 people are currently being cared for in hospitals who are infected with the virus.
As for the contamination situation in the individual federal states, there was a data correction in Vorarlberg on Friday and Carinthia also faced technical problems. Since Wednesday and (for now) until Sunday, only the confirmed and recovered cases and deaths can be published daily.

- Salzburg: 100
- Tyrol: 81
- Burgenland: 73
- Carinthia: 73
