In the course of a dispute, a then 27-year-old woman murdered her boyfriend with multiple knife wounds in Vienna in 2019, dismembered the body and, together with her mother, dissolved the body parts in acid in Hungary. On Friday, the Hungarian woman was sentenced to 17 years in prison for murder in the centrally located Hungarian city of Szolnok. The verdict is not final. The suspect confessed to the crime, but referred to “legitimate self-defense”.
The suspect had worked as a prostitute in Vienna and met the later victim, the son of a Tunisian family of doctors. The 32-year-old is said to have been murdered by the 27-year-old in the course of a dispute in the shared apartment with several knife wounds and then dismembered. The body parts were brought to Hungary in a rental car in suitcases.
Young people discover garbage bags
The suspect had previously confided in her mother. The two women are said to have poured acid over the body parts and deposited them in garbage bags in an irrigation canal in Jászalsószentgyörgy, Hungary, about 350 kilometers from Vienna. However, teenagers discovered the garbage bags about a month later.
Mother also convicted
The defendant was sentenced to 17 years in prison for murder. She appealed the verdict to her lawyer. In the second instance, the case will be heard in Szeged. The Hungarian’s mother was sentenced to two years in prison for complicity, with a four-year suspended sentence. Your sentence is already final.
