The trade unions of Ertzaintza, ErnE, Esan and Sipe, have asked the Basque government for a meeting to “give a new twist to the conflict”, while denouncing “the painful situation” experienced by the Ertzaintza, who “ in forty years Ertzaintza has never been this bad” history.”
The Ertzaintza unions gathered this Thursday at the doors of the Basque Parliament, on the occasion of the plenary session of the general policy debate, where they explained that they had asked both the Security Council member Josu Erkoreka and the second deputy lehendakari, Idoia Mendia ” a meeting to redirect this situation between them.”
On the other hand, employees of Eusko Irratia, convened by the unions ELA, LAB and ESK, have also gathered in front of the Basque Chamber to ask for “recognition of the work we have done, respect for the negotiating frameworks and the improvement of our working conditions .”
The unions represented on the EITB radio stations have called for a strike day for today, as well as for the 26th of this month and October 19, so the Eusko Irratia broadcast is offering minimal services.
