Attempted murder charge – “Sushi-Zechcheller”: I didn’t see the landlady

Date:

On August 8, they allegedly ran over a sushi landlady (42) in a white SUV in Linz and seriously injured her. Now the two teenagers (16 and 17) have to answer for this in court: on February 27 they will be tried for attempted murder – the teenagers have not confessed.

And all because of 50 euros: As reported, the 16-year-old fled from a sushi restaurant in Linz with her boyfriend (17) at the time of the crime in the summer without paying the bill. The young couple from Graz – the girl was driving – allegedly ran over the landlady with their car.

The Zechpreller duo will appear in court in Graz on February 27. The Public Prosecution Service accuses the two well-known teenagers of attempted murder.

‘I didn’t want to see the victim’

“The suspects have not confessed to attempted murder. “They did not want to see the victim when they drove away,” Christian Kroschl of the Graz Public Prosecutor’s Office told the “Krone”.

Both are charged with attempted murder. “The young man as a contributor, she as a direct perpetrator,” Kroschl explains. That’s the only accusation, because the buzz doesn’t matter much in comparison.

Duo is officially known

If convicted, the teens face a prison sentence of one to 15 years; the presumption of innocence applies. Both the 16-year-old and the 17-year-old are known to the police: “Both have previous convictions,” says prosecutor spokesperson Kroschl. She for assault, coercion and giving false evidence, he for coercion.
