After an incident with a suspected poacher in East Tyrol, a similar incident in the Pitztal has now become known. This perpetrator also managed to escape, probably in a pickup truck.
The previously unknown perpetrator probably shot a deer in Arzl im Pitztal last weekend. The crime scene was an open meadow area not far from Pitztaler Straße in the area of the exit to Timmls. It was probably a deer or a deer calf. Foreign hunting laws were ignored – i.e. poaching.
Traces of an all-terrain vehicle
Based on the investigation conducted and the available evidence, the perpetrators likely arrived at the crime scene in an all-terrain vehicle (probably a pickup) and pulled the trigger from approximately 150 meters away. The perpetrator took the entire game with him. The hunting tenant suffered damages for a currently unknown amount. Any useful information should be sent to Wenns Police Station on 059133/7109.
