A holidaymaker wanted to walk down a slope in the Flachau ski area on Wednesday evening. But it was simply groomed by a snow plow. The driver of the car overlooked the man and hit him.
Instead of taking the gondola, a German (37) went on foot to the valley in the Flachau ski area on Wednesday around 7 p.m. Around 7 p.m. he ran on slope number one, which was closed at the time for grooming and snowmaking. The mountain railway employee (42) was carrying two snow cannons on the shovel of the snow plow and therefore did not see much. Suddenly the German holidaymaker ran in front of the vehicle – the driver recognized the man too late and was unable to stop the vehicle in time.
He touched the German lightly with the shovel. The pedestrian fell and suffered a bruise. A breath test later carried out on the holidaymaker showed an alcohol content of 3.12 per mille.
