The feared Russian domestic secret service FSB has arrested a man for allegedly spying for Poland. He allegedly revealed trade secrets to obtain a residence permit abroad.
The FSB officially announced on Friday that the arrested man worked at a defense factory in the Penza region, about 500 kilometers southeast of Moscow. He spontaneously offered to cooperate with a representative of the Polish secret service.
No further details were given. The FSB information could not be independently verified. NATO and EU member Poland is one of the main supporters of Ukraine, which is under attack by Russia, and is therefore considered one of Moscow’s biggest enemies.
