A dispute between a taxi driver and three passengers in the Tyrolean lowlands got completely out of hand on Thursday evening. The trio – probably holidaymakers from the Netherlands – reportedly panicked completely, damaged the vehicle by kicking them and broke off the car key. The perpetrators fled.
During the journey from Kirchberg to Westendorf, a heated argument suddenly broke out between the taxi driver and the three passengers. The taxi driver therefore literally pulled the emergency brake. He stopped in Brixen im Thale and asked the customers to leave the vehicle.
Car door damaged, key broken
This made the holidaymakers, who according to the police probably come from the Netherlands, even angrier. ““A passenger then damaged the rear door of the car by kicking it, while another passenger removed the car key to prevent the taxi from continuing,” the director reported.
But that’s not all: the trio allegedly broke off the car key. The perpetrators then fled. A search has so far been unsuccessful. The investigators are hoping for witnesses.
