But what does climate protection have to do with justice? “The consequences of global warming will mainly affect those who are financially weaker,” Zumtobel explains. The reason is simple: air conditioning for hot summers, gardens with shady trees, reconstruction work after natural disasters such as floods or mudslides: all this costs money.
