Around noon on Monday, a 16-year-old was skiing on slope number five of the Seekarspitzbahn in Obertauern and was about to pass the turnstile to the lift when another, as yet unknown skier came across him. The teenager fell and broke his collarbone.
Investigations are underway
Instead of stopping and helping the injured man, the skier fled. It has not yet been investigated. Other piste participants cared for the youngster on site and the piste rescue team took him to the doctor in Obertauern. In addition to a broken collarbone, he also diagnosed a concussion. The police investigation is ongoing.
