A man (32) is suspected of having touched women and underage girls in the genital area several times over a long period of time in the vicinity of the Kliebergasse tram station in Vienna-Margareten. Possible further victims are asked to report to the Vienna police.
The police were already aware of a total of 23 cases between May and December last year. The suspect is said to be a 32-year-old man from Turkey. He allegedly touched his victims in the genital area or slapped their buttocks. Underage girls were also affected by the attacks.
Suspect is still on the run
The man is said to have committed his crimes almost exclusively in the vicinity of the Kliebergasse tram station.

“The Vienna State Criminal Investigation Department, which investigates sexual crimes, is now trying to identify additional possible victims of the suspect, in addition to the 23 already known cases. “A photo of the crime scene will now be published on behalf of the Viennese Public Prosecution Service,” the Viennese police announced on Monday.
