A Thai man performed a wild and dangerous stunt to prevent his (still) wife from getting a divorce. He clung to her car and drove 15 kilometers before police intervened.
The couple actually had an appointment to sign the divorce papers. 40-year-old Tiwa Puttakawee had asked his wife of 20 years for a private meeting. But she took her lover with her – the situation quickly escalated.
The Thai man noticed on the way home that his future ex-wife’s lover was in the car with her, local media report. When he motioned for her to stop for a conversation, an accident occurred. Puttakawee then got out of his car to talk to the 39-year-old, but she continued driving. Eventually the man jumped on her car and clung on. It wasn’t until the director intervened that the crazy ride came to an end.
The 40-year-old later claimed the driver accelerated to shake him off the hood. The suspect, on the other hand, stated that her ex had previously threatened to harm her and that was why she had taken her lover with her.

All three people involved were eventually taken to the police station to clarify the matter. Puttakawee told police that the mother of his three children met her new boyfriend on the Tiktok platform and started an affair with him. He caught her cheating several times before she asked the Thai man for a divorce.
