28-year-old police officer Hemma and her 27-year-old colleague Johannes were out alone on Monday evening when they saw a man messing around at the door of a veterinary practice. The two officers had the presence of mind to ask what the 39-year-old was doing.
When the man from Klagenfurt then tried to escape, the duo managed to arrest the burglar and warn their colleagues. “The man was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and the tools he had with him, including a battery flex device, a garden knife and multi-purpose pliers, were seized,” police said.
