Driving safety training for new drivers has been an essential part of the multi-phase training since 2003.
For many people, passing the driving test is one of the most important moments in their lives. But even after that you continue in training: motorists have 3-9 months after obtaining their driving license to complete the mandatory driving safety training, motorcyclists
2-12 months. The training courses at ÖAMTC driving technology are given under the motto “learning through experience”.
Perfect conditions
In the one-day driving safety training for driving license B, emergency braking and evasive maneuvers, cornering and correct behavior in a skidding car are trained. The one-day driving safety training for motorcyclists covers, for example, slalom riding, steering and vision techniques, braking exercises, handling training and evasive maneuvers.
After another two months, the motorcycle perfection test can be completed. Selected routes are ridden in small groups.
During all training sessions, participants receive tips and feedback from the instructor via radio. Driving safety training and perfection driving can be followed throughout Austria in one of the eight ÖAMTC driving technology centers.
Complete training and win
In addition to valuable experience, there is also something to be won until March 31, 2024: ÖAMTC Fahrtechnik is giving away a sleek Suzuki Swift Sport Hybrid to its graduates of the B driving safety training. For those who have completed the driving safety training for the A driving license and/or the motorcycle perfection ride, there is a chance to win the cult motorcycle, the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone.
