During the demonstration against right-wing extremism and racism on Friday evening in front of the parliament in Vienna, there was already a disruptive or counteraction in the first hour.
While according to the organizer, up to 80,000 people peacefully participated in the demonstration against right-wing extremism in front of parliament to take a stand against the right, some opponents gathered on the roof of a round building.
The counter-protesters lit flares and hung banners. Plumes of smoke billowed over the house on Ringstrasse. The crowd then booed the action, as can be heard on the video.

“There were three reports of disorderly conduct due to people unfurling a banner on the roof of a building and lighting fireworks,” police said. The troublemakers were immediately stopped by police officers. The banner and pyrotechnic items were confiscated.
Nevertheless, the meeting was largely peaceful.
