Shortly before 1 p.m., a 24-year-old German and a 33-year-old German collided on the Ötztaler Bundesstrasse in the municipality of Umhausen. Both were seriously injured and taken by ambulance to the hospital in Zams. Significant material damage was caused to both vehicles.
Serious accident on the A12
In the afternoon, a 72-year-old German driver caused a violent accident on the Inntal highway. In the direction of Kufstein, his vehicle veered off the right side of the road for unknown reasons and hit the side of a shock absorber at the exit to the Radfeld checkpoint.
He and his 72-year-old passenger were seriously injured in the accident and were taken by ambulance to Kufstein Hospital. There was significant damage to the vehicle.
