On Sunday evening there was a violent brawl between several young people in Vienna-Favoriten. Five unknown people attacked four boys while they were waiting for the bus. Currently there is no trace of the attackers.
A 16-year-old was waiting for the bus with three friends around 9:30 PM when they were suddenly approached by five unknown people. Shortly afterwards, one of the suspects tried to hit the 16-year-old’s friend. The 16-year-old immediately intervened and a violent brawl ensued.
Serious thigh injuries
To prevent further escalation, the 16-year-old jumped on the bus and saw two wounds on his thigh, which according to the police could probably have been the result of a stab.
He received initial care from the Vienna Professional Rescue Service and was then taken to a hospital.
Unknown people on the run
Since then there has been no trace of the unknown young people, between the ages of 12 and 14. The investigation is progressing quickly.
