The walls of the town hall in the city of Salzburg suffered damage after test drilling in the summer. There is complete uncertainty about the impact on the mega transport project. According to an official and an expert, investigations by experts will probably take up to six months.
Last summer, about 100 test drillings were already carried out in the city of Salzburg as part of the mega transport project. From June, the project company S-Link set its sights on Rudolfskai, located on the route from Mirabellplatz under the Salzach towards the possible terminus Hallein. With more than fifteen attempts to find out more about the nature of the land, at least the town hall could have been compromised.
