Unusual scenes took place outside a supermarket in the Tyrolean capital on Sunday. After a Ukrainian (23) stole goods from the store, he was confronted by a detective. The thief grabbed his bicycle and threw it at his opponent.
The incident happened shortly after 4 p.m. The thieves broke into a supermarket in Innsbruck. He was observed by a store detective. He wanted to stop the thief in front of the supermarket.
Bicycle used as a “weapon”.
“The 23-year-old then threw his bicycle at the store detective and fled with the stolen goods,” police said. Nevertheless, the detective managed to capture the Ukrainian and detain him until officers arrived. The loot was also recovered.
