A 20-year-old boy from Wiener Neustadt was sentenced to four years in prison (not legally binding) as the main perpetrator of an unusual crime. On June 15, 2023, Serbian Leonardo R., together with 17-year-old Marcel V. – who was granted 18 months of partial parole – forcibly gained access to their victim’s apartment in Vienna-Simmering. What started as a dispute over intimate photos turned into a sadistic act.
The tenant of the apartment was with the suspect’s girlfriend. Leonardo suspected that the man still had intimate photos and videos of the woman stored on his smartphone. At gunpoint, they forced their ex-boyfriend to unlock his cell phone and reset it to factory settings. But this was just the beginning of a two-hour ordeal for the little victim.
