According to the ‘Krone’ report, the handcuffs clicked on the 16-year-old Chechen, who wanted to blow up the NMS Bruck an der Mur together with his 15-year-old friend.
The waves rose when it became known that the two boys with Macedonian and Chechen roots who planned a terrorist attack on the New Bruck an der Mur Middle School were still on the run. Although the two friends (15 and 16 years old) were sentenced last summer by the Leoben regional court to two years in prison, eight months of which were unconditional.
Concerned citizens who saw the two walking on the street and recognized them turned to the “Krone” in surprise and asked for clarification. When we asked the court, we found out: ‘Yes, a stay of detention has been granted.’ So they can complete their education before they go to prison
Arrest warrant from the court
But now the “Krone” has learned from a confidential, reliable source: the handcuffs recently clicked on the older man, an apprentice in the automotive sector. On February 7, shortly after our story appeared, the regional court ordered the arrest and transfer to Leoben prison, which was immediately carried out by the police.
The 16-year-old Chechen is now behind bars. He had actually applied for an ankle bracelet to serve the mandatory part of his sentence, but this was rejected by the court.
It is not yet known what will happen to his friend, a student (15).
