In the morning a calf escaped and was forced back into the stable after about an hour by police, fire brigade and employees of the breeding association.
Cow ran towards the city
Things didn’t end well in the afternoon when a cow escaped during loading. “This time, however, the cow did not run into the adjacent exhibition center, but into the city,” said the volunteer fire brigade of Ried im Innkreis.
Four people were injured when the animal tried to escape. Fortunately, they escaped with minor injuries and the rescue team took them to the hospital in Ried.
Eventually the cow ran into a courtyard that emergency services were able to block. Caught there, the animal was stunned with tranquilizer darts before being captured.
