Activists called for the “immediate, unconditional release of all hostages” Hamas held during a demonstration in Vienna on Tuesday. They also commemorated the Israeli women brutally raped by the terrorists. About 70 people gathered on Stephansplatz, including from the Israelite Community (IKG).
Fourteen activists wore gray sweatpants with blood-red paint on the crotch and tape over their mouths. The hands were tied together with a rope – in memory of the raped women and hostages such as Naama Levy.
19-year-old Namaa was seen in a viral video in which a terrorist dragged her by her hair from the trunk of a car to the back seat. Her hands were tied behind her back and she was bleeding from her eye. There was a large blood stain on the seat of her gray sweatpants. Naama and many other hostages have been held by Hamas for 128 days.
Some protesters presented posters of the kidnapped women. Other people handed out flyers reading “Rape is not resistance” to passersby at the Graben.
