today, thursday, Bilbao Metro will have a new life partial stoppage day. As on previous occasions, the stoppages will take place from 6.30 am to 9.30 amin the morning shift, and from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, in the evening shift. The Basque government has set minimum services of 30%.
The strikes are being called by ELA, CIM, UGT and the Spanish train drivers’ union, and are intended to put pressure on collective agreement negotiations and protest changes in the working conditions of the train drivers.
For the rest of the day, Metro Bilbao provides 100% of the traffic on a July workday.
