But that’s not the only reason why she needs a good stomach and calluses. In the interview she comments on the shitstorm and anonymity on the internet.
“Kron”: Ms Primaria, malice, hatred and agitation in the so-called social media are increasingly becoming a burden on the cohesion of society – this is also evident from the current drama surrounding the former editor-in-chief of Standard. You yourself find yourself in the crossfire of unwarranted criticism. How do you deal with that?
Adelheid Kastner: In principle, this is nothing particularly new. It would always have been the case that questions at the regular table were handled all the more emotionally without thorough expertise. And that you have repeatedly commented on things about which you had as little knowledge as possible, but usually the louder. Social networks now offer the opportunity to regularly affirm yourself in a group of like-minded people on a much larger scale and also to find the invaluable opportunity to do it completely anonymously. This means that I do not have to be accountable for what I say, but I can express myself behind the anonymity of my account and therefore do not have to expect social exclusion if I express myself without any decency.
