A 52-year-old was unharmed when he crashed his electric car into a concrete block in Puch (Salzburg) – the car escaped less easily. The driver was heavily drunk: the measuring device showed 1.94 per mille.
Around 5 a.m. on Saturday, a police patrol in Puch was alerted by an email from an electric car. The driver of the car, a 52-year-old from Pinzgau, had crashed into a concrete block on the side of the road.
Tires completely destroyed
He was unharmed, the right front of the car was completely destroyed and the tire was even bent 90 degrees.
Driver’s license gone
When the police arrived the driver was still in the car. The officers conducted an alcohol test. Result: the man was heavily drunk. Because of the 1.94 per mille, the Pinzgauer had to surrender his driver’s license.
The Puch volunteer fire brigade was on site with 19 men, secured the accident scene and cleared the road of spilled liquids.
