In the middle of Vienna, a taxi driver managed to drive sideways into another car on Monday afternoon and simply stop there. The rather unusual accident was captured in a photo by an observant ‘Krone’ reader reporter.
The reporter of the ‘Krone’ reader was surprised when he saw around noon how the taxi driver suddenly drove into the white VW in the middle of the Hernalserhauptstrasse.
Lane blocked
Unfortunately, he stopped in the middle of the car and could not continue, blocking the roadway. The fire brigade had to separate the two vehicles.
No injuries
Fortunately, according to the police, no injuries were reported. Nevertheless, both drivers were in shock. It is still unclear why the accident between the two vehicles occurred.
