A bloody attack in Traiskirchen called the police to the scene on Tuesday evening around 7:20 p.m.: In the eastern care center, a fight between two refugees ended with one seriously injured.
The argument escalated
A 22-year-old Moroccan attacked his opponent armed with a knife. He stabbed the Libyan several times, mainly hitting him in the stomach area. The 24-year-old’s life was initially in danger. He was taken to hospital by the emergency doctor and underwent emergency surgery. An argument between the two preceded the attack.
Arrested for attempted murder
The 22-year-old initially managed to escape. However, he was arrested during an immediate search by officers from the Traiskirchen police station. He was arrested for attempted murder. The investigation was taken over by the Lower Austrian Criminal Police.
