A Turkish serious criminal had to appear before the regional court in Feldkirch on Wednesday. The 39-year-old has known life behind bars for years. A total of twelve, many of which are relevant, adorn his criminal record. This time he faces a prison sentence of seven and a half years.
The criminal is charged with, among other things, dangerous threats, suppressing documents, endangering public safety, bodily harm and unauthorized handling of narcotics. Although he has been denied entry into Austria, the man, who lived in Zurich until his arrest in December, continues to travel to the countryside undisturbed.
“Have nothing to lose”
In July, after a panic attack, he threatened an acquaintance on the phone: “I have nothing to lose. I have a gun with me. “I am going to Bregenz now and will pierce your daughter and then kill you and your family.”
Wild chase with the police
When he was stopped at a vehicle in October, he identified himself with an ID card he had previously stolen from another man. The grand finale followed on December 6, when he went on a wild chase with the police between Bregenz and Hard.
“Why did you flee from the police?” judge Theo Rümmele wants to know. “My brother is in a wheelchair. “I wanted to bring him medicine urgently,” says the suspect, who says he was under the influence of cocaine and pills at the time. The trial has been postponed and will continue.
