A serious accident occurred on Thursday morning in the municipality of Hittisau (Vorarlberg) in the Bregenzerwald. Two cars collided during a cornering maneuver. A woman was injured.
On Thursday morning around 7:20 am, a 58-year-old woman drove her car on the soaked L 205 from Hittisau towards Krumbach. On the Hinteregg plot she wanted to turn left to drive to a residential building. At the same time, a 29-year-old driver from Germany approached in her car from the opposite direction. A collision occurred and the two cars collided with full force.
The elderly driver was injured in the accident, but it is not yet known how seriously. Both cars were seriously damaged in the accident. The Hittisau fire brigade was responsible for securing and cleaning the accident site.
