On Friday morning, cold gas suddenly leaked in a hotel in the municipality of Tschagguns. Emergency services were immediately alerted and evacuated the house. To be sure, six people had to be taken to hospital.
The fire brigade discovered that a pipe had burst in one of the cooling machines. This allowed the gas to escape – fortunately only a small amount.
The house was still partially evacuated. Six people who were near the affected room were taken to hospital for a health check.
