Bilbobus plans to step up its 24-hour strikes, with new strikes on March 20, 25 and 27

Date:

The committee made this decision due to the ‘passivity’ of the Bilbao City Council and the company in resolving the conflict.

The Bilbobus Commission will propose an increase in 24-hour strikes in Marchso that, predictably, there will be full strikes on March 20, 25 and 27 despite the ‘passivity’ of the Bilbao City Council and the company to resolve the conflict, so that of the six days of mobilization planned that month, five would be complete.

Precisely, this Tuesday, day February 27Bilbobus employees are called on to support a 24-hour strikein addition to a demonstration that will start at 7:30 am from the Plaza Levante in San Ignacio and end around 11:30 am at the Plaza Circular.

In February there is also a day of calling for mobilizations, specifically this one Thursday the 29thwith strikes from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. in the morning and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the afternoon.

In statements to Europa Press, the chairman of the commission, Jose Fernandezhas indicated that there is “nothing new” regarding the resolution of the conflict and that the “passivity” of the Bilbao City Council and the company is pushing them to increase mobilizations in March.
