Three desperate children from Karlsdorf near Seeboden (Carinthia) can laugh again. The Spittal/Drau fire brigade rescued their beloved cat from a tree on Saturday morning.
Only the cat itself knows why cat “Nikita” went to such dizzying heights, but she could neither move forward nor backward in a tree more than 20 meters high and was stuck. The concerned owners could only ask the fire brigade for help. The three children in particular were in despair.
Scared and soaked
But Carinthia’s fire brigades have a big heart for animals. Therefore, the volunteer fire brigade from Spittal an der Drau arrived with the turntable ladder and group commander Lucas Weger was able to rescue the scared and soaked cat “Nikita” unharmed from the tree and hand it over to the happy children Mailin, Nike and Raphael. A happy ending in all situations and a big thank you to the fire brigade.
