A surveillance camera in West Yorkshire, England, captured a brutal kidnapping in broad daylight. Several men dragged a man into a van in a residential area and then fled with their victim.
The kidnapping took place on March 6 around 11 a.m. The local resident whose CCTV camera recorded the kidnapping told Yorkshire Live: “I was completely shocked when I saw it. I felt guilty because I was home at the time and thought I heard someone moaning…” However, he assumed it was an argument.
Neighbor called police: incident was “very frightening”
“It was only when I watched the footage again that I realized what had happened and immediately called the police. If I hadn’t been home and watched it again, no one would have known it had happened – it’s very scary,” the witness said.
“The victim suffered injuries to his jaw and ribs,” police said. The man has now been found again. No further details were revealed. A 28-year-old suspect has now been arrested, the media report. To track down the other perpetrator, the police asked the public for help.
