Shots were fired in the center of Bielefeld on Saturday evening, reportedly killing one man. German media reported that the fire was opened when a group of up to six men left a coffee house.
Witnesses reported hearing six shots, as “Bild” reported. Emergency services rushed to the scene after the alarm was raised, but a gunshot victim reportedly succumbed to serious injuries at the scene. The perpetrators were able to escape.

Emergency services set up privacy walls to transport the body to Obernstrasse. The fatal victim is said to have been a former boxer. According to Bild, he was shot once in 2013.
